Week 1: Intro, mindset reset, foundational drills
Weeks 2–7: Progressive form/volume lessons, demos, and sketch assignments
Week 8: Final field sketching day at Zilker Botanical Garden, Texas Natural History Museum, or similar venue (announced during course)
🎒 What You’ll Need
A pack of felt-tip pens (any brand, mixed sizes)
A toned sketchbook (Strathmore recommended)
One light grey marker (used during spectral scaffolding phase)

Classes are held in a private seminar room at Optima Educational Center in Round Rock, TX—just 20 minutes north of downtown Austin.
This is a clean, quiet professional space used for workshops and training—not a public classroom.
